What's New?

MCTV Orientation/Studio workshop will be held on Saturday, May 13 from 10am - 1pm. This is the first step in learning how to make a television show. The orientation part of the workshop will give you background on MCTV and its history. The studio part of the workshop gives you "hands on" with studio equipment. Don't just watch but become a part of the exciting world of public access television.

The City of Midland has announced that Matthew Richardson has been promoted to Manager of MCTV and Library Communications. He succeeds Ron Beacom, who retired in November 2016.

Richardson has held the position of Production Director at MCTV since 2008. Previously, he served as Production Coordinator at the Kalamazoo Community Access Center. He received his Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Detroit Mercy.

MCTV viewers will now see an upgrade in the quality of our signal! We have replaced the cameras in the control room at City Hall, along with the studio cameras and equipment in our control room and replay room here at MCTV. Also, our new Mobil Video Production unit is here.
