Give Local Midland

On May 3, 2016, Midland Parks and Recreation will join nonprofit organizations and community foundations across the county for Give Local Midland – a 24-hour crowdfunding event that provides a platform to invest in endowment funds and celebrate the work of local nonprofit organizations.

Midland Parks and Recreation will participate in Give Local Midland 2016 by partnering with other local nonprofits to connect donors to the organizations solving our community’s most pressing challenges. Organizations who are interested in partnering with Midland Parks and Recreation for Give Local Midland 2016 may contact Marcie Post at 989-837-6930 for more information.

“We truly believe that every donation, no matter how large or small, makes a difference in our community,” said Karen Murphy, Director of Public Services.  “I am excited to participate in Give Local Midland 2016 and support the people and organizations who work tirelessly and selflessly to keep our community vital and strong. By donating to endowment funds, we’re helping to ensure the long term sustainability of organizations like ours.”
